Madagascan Moon Moth, Argema mittrei
Also called the Comet Moth, these endangered moths are huge with a wingspan of 8 inches wide. The adult moth cannot feed and only lives for 4-5 days for the sole purpose of reproducing. Because they live in the wet rain forests of Madagascar, their cocoons have drain holes so that the pupa inside will not drown.
